Family Matters but Family Matters

Family matters can be disturbing and even traumatizing in many cases. At times, we outgrow our family and parents and struggle to coexist. Sometimes, it's parenting struggles of new parents; other times, it's the anxiety of parents aging. 

Marriages are hard, divorces are hard, and being stuck is harder. 

Let's detangle our minds and hearts, let's give it one more attempt?

In this meetup, we talk about our family matters and find ways to help each other using science-backed strategy tools made fun with the compassion of the community. 

Structure of the Meetup:

• Introduction and Icebreaking (15 mins)

Welcome and introduction to the theme and community members. 

• Guided Mental Strategy Exercises and Alter Egos Exploration (60 mins)

Creative group and individual exercises to develop intent, sense of ownership of our lives, gratitude and forgiveness , and creating alter egos to fix the messed up family dynamics. 

• Group activities and interactive sharing (30 mins)

Participants share their alter egos and the insights gained through the creative exercise followed by fun group games to practice our alter egos. 

• Closing Circle and Reflection (15 mins)

Discuss takeaways and insights. Pledge commitment to our action plans.
