It's about missing the warmth, the familiar flavours, the recipes you grew up with, and that feeling of being fed by someone who wants you to eat just a little more.

This August, we're bringing that feeling to The Home Table.

Welcome to Paaran, an intimate Bihari home dining experience hosted by Sushmita Srikant and her family.

A carefully curated spread of authentic Bihari dishes, including the famous Litti Chokha and other family and regional favourites, prepared from recipes that have been part of Sushmita Aunty's home for years.

About the Host

At 56, a mom is opening up her home for one simple reason: to bring authentic, hard-to-find Bihari flavours to anyone missing the comfort of a home-cooked meal.

Sushmita Aunty isn't a chef or restaurateur.

She's a passionate home cook, a mother who believes food tastes best when shared.

Inspired by her own kids living away and craving a meal made with love, she’s putting her heart into a dining experience that feels less like a commercial event and more like a weekend lunch at Mom’s.

Expect incredible, genuine Bihari dishes, endless conversation, and the warmest welcome in town by easily the warmest Gen X you’ll ever meet!
