About the experience
The festive season is here, and what better way to celebrate than by slowing down, getting creative, and making something with your own hands?
Join us for a festive String Art Workshop with Sanchita, an Alter Ego community member and a passionate crafter with over 18 years of experience.
This is more than just a craft workshop.

Learn String Art. Make Something Beautiful.
String art is a wonderfully simple and meditative craft. With just thread, nails, and a wooden base, you can create beautiful patterns, festive designs and artwork.
Sanchita will take you through the basics of string art and make the process simple and enjoyable, even if you've never tried it before.
You can choose from festive Indian-inspired designs such as diyas, rangolis, and timeless floral picture frames
And in around 2 hours, you'll have a handmade piece to take home.
Make It. Gift It. Keep It.
With Diwali and the festive season around the corner, your creation could become:
A beautiful piece of home décor
A handmade Diwali gift for someone you love
Or simply a reminder of a few meaningful hours spent creating
Four options to choose from:

And There Is Another Story Here
When you sign up for this workshop, you're not just learning a new craft.
You're supporting Sanchita — a talented crafter, a mother, and a woman working towards building something of her own.
At Alter Ego, we truly believe in the spirit of community.
We don't just do events; you become part of the community once you attend an event, and then the community creates events for you.
To explore, lead, and also earn.
Sanchita joined us for Women on Meaningful Breaks (WOMB) — a space where women from the Alter Ego community come together to pause, reflect, share ideas and explore possibilities. During one of these conversations, we brainstormed how her love and talent for crafting could become an opportunity for her.

This is one such beginning.
Come for the string art.
Come for the festive spirit.
Come to make something with your hands.
And come knowing that your participation is helping create an opportunity for someone from our community.
