Picture your alter ego as a character in your life's story, where each detail contributes to the strength and purpose of your heroic self.  What motivates this hero, what's its backstory, what name does it go by, and what symbol activates its powers?

New Habits, Values, and Persona

This is where your alter ego moves beyond the surface, the values it holds dear, the behaviours that define it, and the intricate details of its daily habits and behaviours. This is like creating a system of values and culture that act as guiding principles for your future self and your alter ego.

Unleashing the Alter Ego

Now that you've sculpted the identity of your alter ego, it's time for it to step into the limelight. This is the crucible where inspiration meets action. What should your heroic self know (to upskill), what strategy or modus operandi would he/she/they follow? This step is your training ground, a space to experiment with behaviours and your Go-to-market strategy, learn from diverse inspirations, and translate values into tangible actions.

Developing New Beliefs

We've learned, practised, and shaped our alter ego, but life has a way of surprising us. We need our North Star – our beliefs, our mission and our vision statement to help us make choices that align with our evolving self. This step is a final push, a chance to ditch the baggage of what no longer serves us and switch to a new professional self. 

Integration and Becoming

Step 10 is about merging your hero self with the everyday you. It's not just about creating your alter ego; it's about unearthing the hero within and inviting it to show up out of its trapped self till the paths merge. You become the hero or your hero becomes you.
